Our Team

Charles Martin

Handles inspections, installs, and makes sure every job is done right. A native Western North Carolina mountain man, Charles was brought to Eastern NC by his wife, a local to the area. With over a decade of hands-on experience starting in his dad’s insulation business, he has worked as an installer, crew chief, and operations manager before deciding to go out on his own.

When he’s not in a crawlspace or attic, you can find him camping, snowboarding, working in his garden, tackling a DIY project, or enjoying time being a dad.

Operations Manager & Field Specialist

Kristen Tyler Martin

Keeps everything running smoothly. While you may not find her in a crawlspace or attic, she works behind the scenes, handling marketing, bookkeeping, administration, and the day-to-day operations that keep the business running, serving as the backbone of the business, just like she is at home as a mom.

When she’s not helping protect your home, you can find her working as a mental health therapist, birth doula, and photographer, or snowboarding, gardening, and finding DIY projects for Charles to do.

Calvin, Ocelot & Luna

Calvin, a standard Poodle, Ocelot, a Siberian Husky, and Luna, our Goldendoodle, are the real heartbeat of the operation. Experts in keeping spirits high and quality control at home, they keep us on our toes and bring endless happiness to our day-to-day life. Whether it’s supervising projects, demanding snack breaks, or ensuring everyone stays on schedule for walks, they take their jobs very seriously.

(But really, Kristen keeps bringing dogs home SOS.)

Lesh Martin

The smallest member of the team and already the biggest source of motivation, Lesh keeps us grounded, grateful, and constantly reminded of the importance of a healthy, safe home. He’s the daily reminder of why we do what we do—because every family deserves a space that feels comfortable, protected, and cared for.

In charge of daily joy, schedule disruptions, and unlimited cuteness, he plays a very important role in both the business and our home. When he’s not “helping” run the operation, he’s enjoying naps, snacks, and keeping everyone on their toes with surprise management meetings.
